| YUMIX 4000E is a sophisticated WDM transport system allowing up to 16 channels in a 7U tall chassis. Thanks to its fiber cross-connect module, users can switch any client interface to a particular line interface at any time, either manually or automatically, offering extensive 1 to N network protection, or making it possible for networks to be re-configured for ring or mesh applications. |
YUMIX 400 is a compact 2U rack accepting the same line cards as YUMIX 4000E but without the cross-connect capability. It’s a good choice for applications where single or a few transmission functions are required, such as 10 G repeater, optical protection switch, passive multiplexers etc., in order to compliment a bigger equipment, or to be deployed for small channel count network nodes.
